PARIS BY BRUSH

Finding treasures on Etsy.com is not hard, just look what I stumbled upon this evening! I am in love with these adorably chic oil paintings from Shann Spishak of Seattle. If I could paint, this is exactly what I would create, chic Parisian interiors with a nod to masters like Monet and Matisse!
I want one of each! Enjoy...

SEEING RED

It was a sea of red at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Saturday night, January 23, 2010 in Los Angeles.
Stars took to the red carpet in shades of tomato, cherry and crimson, pairing their floor-length gowns with chandelier earrings and chic clutches.
Christina Henricks of Mad Men, Mariana Klaveno of True Blood (pictured above) and Mariah Carey were standouts in gorgeous one-shoulder numbers. Check out these lovely ladies and the other red hot looks from the SAG's red carpet...

TRES CHIC IN THE RAIN

The 2010 Golden Globes kicked off tonight (and this year's award season!) with the hottest stars of the small and silver screen. The A-listers walked a rather wet red carpet as rain fell in "sunny California." Luckily ladies (and gentlemen) in black had a handy and matching accessory - a black umbrella!

Besides the shelter from the storm, the major trends on the carpet were black, nude, silver and gold gowns; sequins and ruffles; hair accessories; chandelier earrings and cuff bracelets.

Overall, very lady-like looks on the women and dapper looking men in classic bow tie tuxedos.

Here is a sampling of the chicest looks from the 67th Golden Globes - enjoy!
